Pick the AI you use

Tap your app to see its steps. It takes about two minutes. You can add Scout to more than one app: they all share one memory.

ClaudeTap for the steps
Open Claude's connector settings Opens in a new tab. Keep this page open and follow the steps there.
  1. Open Settings
  2. Click Connectors
  3. Add custom connector, name it Scout Jobs, paste the Scout URL:https://beta.scoutjob.ai/mcp
  4. Leave the other settings as they are (no client ID or secret needed) and click Connect (some apps say Add or Save).
  5. When asked, sign in with your BeChosen account and tap Allow.
  6. Pin Scout in your sidebar: create a Project named "Scout Jobs" and paste Scout's project instructions. Steps and a copy button: https://beta.scoutjob.ai/help/project

Good to know: Custom connectors depend on your Claude plan. If you do not see Add custom connector, your plan may not include it.

Set Scout Jobs to "Always allow" (3 taps)

Scout needs it to work for you without stopping to ask each time.

  1. Open Scout Jobs in Claude's connector settings (on claude.ai or the desktop app: Customize > Connectors; in the phone app, its connector settings).
  2. Under Tool permissions, find "All tools".
  3. Pick "Always allow". That sets every Scout tool at once.

Anything that sends, applies, publishes or charges still needs your tap on a scoutjob.ai page.

ChatGPTPlan + developer mode
Open ChatGPT Opens in a new tab. Keep this page open and follow the steps there.
  1. Open Settings
  2. Click Apps / Connectors (developer mode for custom servers), name it "Scout Jobs", then paste the Scout URL:https://beta.scoutjob.ai/mcp
  3. Leave the other settings as they are (no client ID or secret needed) and click Connect (some apps say Add or Save).
  4. When asked, sign in with your BeChosen account and tap Allow.

Good to know: Custom connectors depend on your ChatGPT plan and need developer mode turned on (Settings, then Apps / Connectors).

Set Scout Jobs to "Always allow" (3 taps)

Scout needs it to work for you without stopping to ask each time.

  1. The next time ChatGPT asks you to approve a Scout action, tap "Always allow" if the card shows it.
  2. Or set it ahead in ChatGPT's app settings (under Settings > Apps): open Scout Jobs and pick the option that does not ask first.
  3. On a work account (Business or Enterprise) your admin may not offer this. Then ChatGPT asks for each action, and that's expected.

  3. Click Custom apps

  7. Paste your personal Scout key as the Bearer token. To get one, sign in at https://beta.scoutjob.ai/account/keys, make a key, and copy it once.

Open Perplexity
  • Scout says hi and asks a few quick questions about you and the work you want.

Scout does not answer? Check that Scout Jobs shows as connected in your app, then start a new chat. Setup help
